Digital Media and Filmmaking Department
In Digital Media and Filmmaking, students participate in one of two strands: Digital Design in which they study imagery, animation and web design; or, Digital Filmmaking in which they are immersed in the filmmaking process from concept to the big screen. Through their course of study, students develop a portfolio of work, or reel, and create artistic, educational and/or entertaining pieces—intellectual, marketable content. Students work with real-world clients and benefit from partnerships with real-world professionals. Exhibitions and festivals are an integral part of the students’ experience.
A key component of the conservatory program is semester, authentic assessments called juries. Each semester's jury is aligned to the conservatory's benchmarks.
Admission to CoSA is extremely competitive and requires includes an application process as well as an interview and portfolio review for Digitial Media and Filmmaking.
