The Coronado School of the Arts FoundationThe Coronado School of the Arts Foundation is a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation whose stakeholders are passionate about supporting Coronado School of the Arts. The Foundation improves community awareness and secures funds to perpetuate, improve and expand the school’s programs. To fulfill its mission, the Foundation works to put in place an endowment large enough to meet CoSA’s ongoing objectives by assuming the role as CoSA’s ambassadors to the arts community. It also organizes the CoSA community volunteers to support CoSA performances and experiences of the students.
The goals of the Foundation include making the school of the arts financially self-sufficient through an endowment and other fundraising activities and expanding its outreach to all qualified students in the San Diego region, including those who are disadvantaged or otherwise at-risk. The Foundation has raised over $1.5 million since its inception.
