CoSA 2008-2009 Season

“Sacred Sky, Sacred Earth”
Artist Peter Terezakis and choreographer Betzi Roe collaborate on this large-scale interactive event that brings together dancers, actors, artists, and musicians for an inspirational evening on North Coronado Beach.

Anything Goes
Enjoy a toe-tapping good time with Cole Porter’s 1930s musical.
October 23, 24, and 25 at 7:00 p.m. and October 25 at 2:00 p.m.

Gerald Robbins Concert
Internationally acclaimed pianist Gerald Robbins delivers his only San Diego performance this year at CHS Performing Arts Center.
November 15 at 7:00 p.m.

Nations of San Diego International Dance Festival
CoSA presents the Nations Festival—Southern California’s largest ethnic dance festival—as it celebrates its 15th year.
November 21 and 22 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. and November 23 at 2:00 and 6:00 p.m.

CoSA Fall Dance Concert
December 11-12 at 7:00 p.m. and December 13 at 2:00 p.m.

The Comedy of Errors
William Shakespeare’s slapstick farce, The Comedy of Errors, will have you rolling in the aisles.
January 30-31 and February 5-7 at 7:00 p.m. and February 8 at 2:00 p.m.

All Shook Up
Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA) students rock the house with All Shook Up, a jukebox musical featuring the music of Elvis.
April 24-25 and 30 and May 1-2 at 7:00 p.m. and April 25 at 2:00 p.m.

CoSA Film & Animation Festival
May 13 at 7:00 pm

“Regeneration”
CoSA students are joined by members of the San Diego Symphony as they perform music from Aaron Copeland’s Appalachian Spring, and CoSA dancers present a reinterpretation of Martha Graham’s dance to Appalachian Spring.
May 21-22 at 7:00 p.m. and May 23 at 2:00 p.m.
