Student FeesThe Coronado School of the Arts Foundation annual student fee is $1,500 for the 2009-2010 school year and may be paid online. However, the actual cost of a CoSA education is over $3,000 per student, per year. To cover the additional costs, parents are expected to participate in CoSA fundraisers and the operation of the CoSA Foundation.

Funding for the Coronado School of the Arts
CoSA is funded by the CoSA Foundation, the Coronado Unified School District, the Regional Occupation Program (ROP), and the College Bound Program at Southwestern Community College
The CoSA Foundation is the primary funding source for the Coronado School of the Arts. The foundation, a private non-profit corporation, raises money for the operation of CoSA. Even though CoSA is housed at a public school, the program is not fully funded by the district.
Financial aid is available.
The CoSA Foundation seeks funding for financial aid for families who cannot afford the yearly student fee. To apply for financial aid, complete the financial aid application and submit it by August 27, 2009.
Download the financial aid application package online or pick up an application package at the CoSA office before the new school year begins. |
