About Islander Youth Theatre

Islander Youth Theatre (IYT) is a vibrant performing arts program for young artists in the community. While IYT operates under the CoSA Foundation umbrella, it is designed specifically for younger families and students who are passionate about theatre and the performing arts.

Our program provides a nurturing environment where students develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork through the magic of live theatre. From auditions to opening night, every aspect of production is a learning experience.

IYT productions bring together young performers for full-scale theatrical productions complete with professional direction, choreography, costumes, and sets.

Who Can Participate

Islander Youth Theatre is open to students in the greater Coronado and San Diego area who have a passion for performing arts. Whether your child is a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time, IYT provides a welcoming and encouraging environment to grow.
