About IYT Scholarships

The CoSA Foundation is committed to making Islander Youth Theatre accessible to every young performer in our community. Our scholarship program provides financial assistance to families who demonstrate need, ensuring that program fees are never a barrier to participation.

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis based on demonstrated financial need and availability of funds. We encourage all families who need assistance to apply — no child should miss out on the IYT experience due to financial constraints.

Scholarship decisions are handled with complete confidentiality by our administrative team. All applications are reviewed fairly and without bias.

Eligibility

Student must be registered or applying to register for IYT
Family must demonstrate financial need
Scholarships available for partial or full fee coverage
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis each season
Must reapply each season if scholarship is needed

Application Process

Step 1: Register for IYT

Complete the IYT registration form first, then indicate your need for financial assistance.

Step 2: Submit Scholarship Application

Fill out the scholarship application and provide required documentation of financial need.

Step 3: Review

Our administrative team will review your application and contact you within 5–7 business days.

Step 4: Confirmation

Upon approval, you will receive notification of your scholarship award and adjusted fee schedule.
